U2 - Zooropa

I like this album, but not as much as the previous ones. I liked how they did this album during the first half of Zoo TV tour. They did a bold move when going back and forth doing this album while being on tour, mostly Edge worked his butt off doing this album. Eventually he became on of the producers for this album. I don't like how this album is one of the underrated albums, though. I like how Edge put it when they were doing this. He said to the band as a joke "why don't we do it in a certain amount of time," which is a good idea at the time, but the band members took it seriously. That should've been how they make albums on a deadline, instead of having us fans waiting years for another album.

I thought it was brave of them having The Wander sung by Johnny Cash. (which is my least favorite song since it puts me to sleep) However, fans didn't like how there was less Bono in it. Which I can see why, but look at it from U2's point of view. Collaborating with artists on an album is different. If you hear other albums? None of them have any collaborations with other artists. I do give them credit for that. Numb was supposed to be on Achtung Baby, but it didn't fit the vibe of that album. It's one of the songs that's a single, also one of the songs that Edge wrote about his previous marriage. Which is a sad song if you think about it, but he does do a mellow rap to it.
