The movie on the tour of their second album. I like this dvd, it shows them doing a promo in Japan, performing some songs in the states, along with a photo session. THey also do interviews, and videos of their singles for Songs From The Big Chair. 

Duran Duran - Pop Trash

Not my favorite album, but I only like the singles. The rest of the album is ok, but I do need to listen to it again. I do like the artwork for the album, though.

Duran Duran - Night Versions

Not what I would call a remix album, but ok. Yeah that's what this album is basically a load of remixes that I don't even like. I need to get this back to my sister. 

Duran Duran - Greatest Hits (DVD)

Even the DVD doesn't have My Own Way nor Lonely In Your Nightmare, not even as easter eggs (bonus). I like their other videos, too, but I just miss those two that I've said, it's hard to find except for YouTube. I love the easter eggs in this one, interview about Wild Boys, interview about the album Liberty, plus many more that you have to fish for. Yeah this made this dvd hard to find the bonus stuff.

Duran Duran - Decade

The first greatest hits CD they made. I kinda don't like how they do greatest hits because they always cut out My Own Way, and Lonely In Your Nightmare, are those not singles? I just don't understand that. Aside from that I do like how they compile their hits for a greatest hits.

Duran Duran - Live In London (Astronaut)

One of the shows I actually gotten to see in person. It's one of my favorites with Andy Taylor still in the band before he left again. My favorite part was Careless Memories and that cartoon video screen in the background they did for it. That was cool because it was them killing. I also got a shirt from this concert which I regret, but it was the only shirt with the band on it. I don't like it because the band is on the front, and it just says Duran Duran 2005 in the back. That's it, no tour dates nothing.

Duran Duran - Seven And The Ragged Tiger

One of my favorite albums despite the fact it has my least favorite version of The Reflex, but overall it's a great album. I love how they went to like five different countries to make this nine song album. This is sad, though well, in the 80's that is. It's their last studio album with Andy, and Roger in the 80's and 90's. That really upset a lot of fans after Live Aid when they broke apart. 

Duran Duran - Arena/Sing Blue Silver (DVD's)

One is a movie, and the other is the concert, but I can't remember which one was which. The movie one is based on the long version video of Wild Boys. If you've seen that video, you're set! Also the footage they used in the movie is called Barbella (the movie where Duran Duran comes from) which tied in good with the movie I think. In Sing Blue Silver (the blue box) has cardboard pics, and a mini poster and stickers. Area I don't remember what's in it. I love them both, the other dvd has the making of the Arena tour. With interviews, bus fun, etc.

Duran Duran - Arena (CD)

The CD version to the live concert dvd, they did for the around the world tour. I love them, but only adding ten songs (including their single Wild Boys) are on the disc, I wish they added like another five more songs including Wild Boys. How sad, but I will go with it.

Duran Duran - A Diamond In The Mind (deluxe)

My recent bought item of Duran Duran. I love it that I found the deluxe version of this. I never saw this tour live, but the dvd looks good. Deluxe comes with a cd, and 2 dvd's I believe. I suppose I could get up to my room, and go look, but I'm just that lazy. I do like them live, though because they have awesome sets, and great songs of course.

Pet Shop Boys - Interview

Don't ask where this came from, but this is an interview cd that was back in the 80's I think. The disc does have other interviews such as: U2 and INXS to name a few. 

Pet Shop Boys - Bilingual

The album is what it says it is. Neil does sing some Spanish through out the album. I have to give him credit for singing in Spanish, not all singers would incorprate other languages into their words. I've said this before, but that's what makes Neil and Chris unique. I happen to like this album, and I got the cd as a late Christmas gift from Santa Clause. (yes I was/am old enough to still believe in Santa) Also, the music itself is inspired by Spanish, too, when you hear the music. I think it's very creative.

Pet Shop Boys - Behaviour Further Listening

This should be every fan's number album. It is in my book! This album pretty much stands for what PSB are in a lot of ways. I really enjoyed the fact that Neil played some guitar on the b-sides. He plays it on It Must Be Obvious. For me it says that they aren't just a keyboard duo, but they can really play insturments as well. Not that keyboards aren't insturments, but it's nothing like a drum kit, or a guitar (of any sort), nor a flute. I'm proud of them for learning how to play.

Pet Shop Boys - book/pictures

The book is Anually which has very nice pictures in it, the still pictures came from ebay. The concerts were of Performance and Highlights (was a small tour they did back in the 80's). The three little cards on Annually are trivia cards, but I don't remember where it came from. 

Pet Shop Boys - Release

I really like this album. It's a very laid back album. I also enjoyed seeing them just being themselves without wigs, nor dancers/singers in concert that is. I love the way he sings Birthday Boy, but I think any song he sings that low like that means that he's sick. That's exactly why he sung it like that. Being a Neil lover myself I happen to love it when he sings with that sexy voice of his. I think Chris said that somewhere, he admired Neil for going in the studio while being super sick with the flu. That's heart right there, not all singers I know would do that.

Pet Shop Boys - Very

My third favorite album by them. For me this album represents them in the 90's. I love One In A Million (even though they didn't write it either), this album has great songs to hear. I'm not to fond of the orange, but I don't care for the songs. I also love their cover of Go West originally done by The Village People. I love it but I have a friend and they don't like it. I think it's funny how much songs we all like and don't like on each album.

Pet Shop Boys - Montage

Possibly my least favorite show to put on dvd. I loved it live, but on dvd? No it's a big no, no for me. I know a lot of fans feel the same way, too. The way the production put this on dvd must've really liked bright, laser, lightening. Also when they used the effects on it, too, that didn't help out much either. Do what I do just turn it on, and don't stare at the screen while watching it.

Pet Shop Boys - Introspective Further Listening

Another further listening cd, but since this is an album of long songs, it's not one of my favorites. I do only like I'm Not Scared on it, because it's not a remix from a shorter song. That's just how I feel about long/remixed songs. I'll try not to sound so mean, but why is it that PSB has remixes of their own songs when they are dance/pop duo? I mean I see the no need for remixes of their songs. To me it makes no sense at all.

Edit: Their songs are bouncy enough, we don't need to be more bounced out. If we did bounce more our heads and boobs would fall out of ourselves.

Pet Shop Boys - Cubism

One of the less designeable shows, but the giant box provides the set looking cool. This was filmed in Mexico City with the stadium not even sold out, but glad they filmed there. I like this show, because it brought back Heart. I love that song is this show. This concert does come with a commentary. Partly why I love PSB more because on just about everything they have commentary of something. That's what makes them unique, but in the same way I kinda wish that other artists/bands would do the same. 

Pet Shop Boys - Pandemonium

My second favorite concert, but never saw it in person. My only complaint about this is the first night they recorded this was the night they did Love Comes Quickly. I don't know why it's not an extra. So much like all the other shows, it's very creative and very colorful. The costume designer who did this is on the commentary, too. Oh yes this show has a commentary on it, too. I do like the mashup of Pandemonium with Can You Forgive Her? I love that it sounds so amazing. 

Pet Shop Boys - Fundamental

I like this album, but it's not my favorite. I do like the singles and some of the songs on it just not all of them. That documentary (A Life In Pop) that's where these single videos are from. 

Pet Shop Boys - Elysium

This is my second favorite album, and it's because it reminds me of Behaviour. This album has a lot of elements and vibe from that 1991 album to it. I really love how well written this album did. However, my least favorite song is Invisible, for me it's rather too slow in beat and singing as well. Now a lot of fans didn't like Winner as the first single, but really? I happen to love it, and it doesn't go just toward transgender, it goes for everybody living in this planet. I'm a winner, you're a winner, why can't the song be a winner, too?

Pet Shop Boys - Greatest Hits

The dvd version, I don't have the cd as I have the other. I like this better than the cd anyway. I love that you can watch the videos in order, shuffle, with or without commentary, and you can watch the videos on shuffle with the commentary going. It's actually funny if you do it like that, I've done it before. I think I might've worn this copy out, because it does have some scratches from the player itself.

The very first greatest hits album, the one thing I love how they named their greatest hits are clever. Not many people do that. This is from 86-90 on cd forum. I wish they remastered the videos onto a dvd instead of just the vhs. I don't have the vhs for this anymore, but at least I got popart. The disc has a new-ish song called Was It Worth It. I really like that song, also in chronological order is how this was compiled.

Their latest greatest hits with a dvd attached to it. The dvd has all the BBC footage according to when the songs were released. I believe there is a concert on it, too, but I don't remember for sure. Like Discography, this one does have a new-ish song called Together. That song is actually a cover that Chris heard while in the bathroom at a bar, heard it and ran to tell Neil about it, and they made it a single for this.

Pet Shop Boys - A Life In Pop

A fan sent me this lovely dvd, that is a history dvd. I happen to like this dvd, but the first time I saw it on youtube. Of course with the dvd it has a lot more footage. I was really excited to see this in full bloom. This dvd does have some special guest who have been fans or worked with them at some point. I happen to like this documentary, and it does include videos from Fundamental album. At least you get videos from the album, as well.

Pet Shop Boys - B-sides

The boxset they put out for the 1990-2002 b-sides. I happen to like this, but it didn't include a song which I can't remember what it was now. I like how they complied this according to the albums released of their a-sides (singles). I kinda wish this album came with a commentary, that would've been great if they talked about this album. Though this does come with a booklet with words, at least it came with words, and a bit of liner notes about the songs, too.

The first b-side CD they did of 1986-1993. Once again I Want A Dog (my least favorite song) is on the first disc. When I imported these cd's I didn't put that song on my iTunes. It's just a waste of space, so anywho this again has liner notes on what they remember of each song, also has some pictures, too, but not nearly enough as the Further Listenings do.

Pet Shop Boys - Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You)

Normally I'm not a big fan of covers, neither, but I do like this cover. The original song was written by U2 and Frankie Valli. I do like their mashup of the two songs like that. This single has b-sides and it's remixes. I'm not a big fan of I Want A Dog, but the mix on this CD, I happen to like a lot. There's always a handful of songs you always find by an artist/band that you don't like, and that's ok not to like it.

Pet Shop Boys - books

All books say almost the same thing, also a waste of blogs just for books. I have two Literally books, one fan book, but it's actually on point with certain things. Also my favorite book is Pet Shop Boys, Versus America. You have to read that book to understand what they think of us Americans. Some of it is funny, and some of it you reflect on because we do react like what's in the book. Plus, it's got awesome pictures in it.

Pet Shop Boys - Disco 1

My least favorite albums, I'm not a big fan of remixes or very long mixes. For this one I made the exception of getting this CD anyway. I do however, like these mixes. The one song I don't like is Pananrio (Italian Mix) for me it doesn't sound like an actual mix. Just sounds like an extended mix, so why not call it 'extended mix'? That's always my question for naming mixes. 

Pet Shop Boys - Nightlife/singles

I combined these together because it comes from the same album, so why not? I didn't feel like doing separate posts, then it'll take up, too much space. This album is in my top five. I find this album to be very Halloween like, for me it's got that vibe. With songs like Vampires, Footsteps, it's very spooky sounding, but I really like it. Also, their wigs would do the trick, too. With Neil face on it? It has 3 recorded live songs from Houston (where I'm from), and I had a blast at this concert. This show was actually my first time seeing Pet Shop Boys live in concert. I was squashed during this show, so luckily during intermission my sister and I moved off to the side so I can breath. Overall I had a fun time not seeing them from where I was, but I waved at Neil, but he never waved back at me, I guess I was, too short for him to see.

Pet Shop Boys - Performance

I don't want to rant on how much in love I am with this concert/musical. For me it's like a musical. I won't or try not to rant on, too much on how I love this concert. This dvd has both the original and the released (that's already on dvd) versions of Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You), and you can listen to the commentary, too that comes with it. This show has lots of imagery, very artistic indeed. I love how they did the setlist for it, almost like a movie feel to it. I just wish I was old enough to go see it in person, but my sisters saw it and they loved it, too. 

Pet Shop Boys - Please/Further Listening

The very first album that broke them wide opened. Also my favorite album, then again what album isn't my favorite? I have two CD's when you see it. I like the further listening, it's almost like a deluxe album because you get the b-sides, and extra unreleased songs. Yes, the further listening CD's do have liner notes (interview if you may) in them, like I've said before I really do like these CD's, because it gives u a run down of what each song is about. Or from what they can remember what they are about. I suppose it's like a commentary, but in written form.

Pet Shop Boys - Electric

I like this album it's got groovy tunes on it. What we all didn't know is The Last To Die is actually a cover song from Bruce Springsteen, now unless you're a big Boss fan you'd know it. I wasn't so I didn't know it was a cover until someone told me. I got to see them again for this tour! I was so excited to see them back in 2014. I had a great time, and wasn't expecting so many older songs that hardly get played live. This album for me as a few songs that Neil doesn't sing in much, which I don't particulary like, but I'll just deal with them. I mean the music is so good, and it's very short.

Pet Shop Boys - Yes

One of my favorite albums by them. I kinda don't like the cover, but I do like the colors they used because it represents them as a duo. I also like how the majority of the album was written for Kylie Minogue, but she never used it. The one thing I don't like is the audio commentary was included as a deluxe part, but since this album only had the deluxe on iTunes, it's really hard to find it on an actual CD. That's my only complaint about it. Overall as a fan I happen to love this album.

Pet Shop Boys - Somewhere (DVD)

One show that should've had the other nights that they did at the Sovoy (I think that's how it's spelled), from what I heard they did West End Girls, and other big singles on those nights, I can't understand why they did add them as extras. I do like it anyhow just wish they added the other songs as extras. This the concert from the video Somewhere which is featured on PopArt. The video is like a trailer for this dvd in other words. 

Pet Shop Boys - Actually - Further Listening

The second album released back in 1987. I'm glad that they did these further listening albums, but why would they have Alternative, and an album of b-sides called Format? Why? The further listening albums wouldn't need to exist in my opinion. Since they do I have only a few, and this is one of them. What I like about it, Neil and Chris write what they remember in each song, and Neil tells us what the songs are about. They do have some funny stores in them, when you read them. 

Pet Shop Boys - The Most Incredible Thing

This is the musical they did back in 2011 I believe. I like this album very much, just bummed out that I didn't get to see it. This is a 2-disc set. The first disc includes all the scenes in song form. In the song Back To The Grind, in the middle of it the demo Baby gets played in it. That is the only song that Neil does sing in. Possibly why most people didn't like this album, but not for me I like it. I prefer the second disc better than the first disc. The second disc contains reprises of certain songs, and one of those is Back To The Grind. I just love that beat and rhythm of the song. It doesn't contain Baby (demo), but that's on a different album. I happen to listen to it when I'm in writing mode such as now, because it's great to have it on during writing. 

Pet Shop Boys - Miracles (single)

Hard to tell what it is, but this is Miracles just the song apparently. I think I got it from amazon or Ebay? I can't remember where I got this from, but I really like this song, and the video as well. 

Pet Shop Boys - Paninaro '95 (single)

The second version of their song back in the 80's Paninaro. In this case it's the '95 version because it was released that yet. I happen to like this version best than the original. This song features Chris rapping in it, I think it's good even though both Neil nor Chris know how to rap. That's the beauty of it, though. At least they tried something new and stuck with it, too. I like this version because it's "more sexual" as Chris put it. With that extra verse it makes more powerful, I think. 

Fall Out Boy - Greatest Hits

First greatest hits, actually which is weird for only having 6 studio albums. I like greatest hits albums for only one reason: if fans don't know if they like bands or not? They can try out the greatest hits, and if they like them? They can check out more songs. I happen to like this because it has three extra songs. Two of them are normal songs, and the other one is a Christmas song, but with a twist. Just give it a listen and you'll see what I mean, but I do like this compile best compared to the one at the bottom. The booklet includes notes from the band, but be aware if you can read chicken scratch? You can make out what they written. I can't figure out what they wrote.

The other greatest hits album they have out. Before I bought it I had to make sure that it was legit (meaning it's an official release from the band, which it is) so I bought it. I like it, but it is weird. It has an unofficial released single (which has a video to it), but for me I don't really consider Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bet a "single" persay. I guess the band put it on there because it's an underrated single. What this lacks is no Take This To Your Grave songs, but it arranges from, From Under The Cork Tree to Folie a Deux? Nope that's not right at all, but like I said, it's the band release not mine.

Fall Out Boy - Save Rock And Roll

This is the album that got me into them. I really love this album very much. Before I actually heard this album, I saw The Young Blood (will be a later post maybe) Chronicals, I saw the videos and thought man they are cute, and talented at what they do, so I went and explored them. Pete puts it as a good point as to how their fans are divided up. "We have fans that are from Save Rock And Roll era, fans before the break up, fans who just like the songs, but not really big fans" I'm the Save Rock And Roll fan indeed! I'm a big fan since I've hard this album, and I'm so glad they came back after their hiatus with a bang.

Fall Out Boy - Infinity On High

Their third album is one of my favorites. This is the album where Patrick shows off his voice. This is the album where Pete's lyrics also gotten better, but still very random, but that's how the songs are. It wouldn't be FOB without those weird lyrics. This album has a lot of the app on an iPad called GarageBand, which Patrick used it a lot while creating the music for it. This album opens up with Jay-Z introducing the band it's cool, though. I find it hard to believe that Babyface had a producing role in this album, which makes it kinda sound hip-hop-ish in away. His name is on the back of the cover.

Fall Out Boy - ****Live In Phoenix DVD

The ONLY live DVD they put out. Sad, but true us fans are still waiting for more live DVD's. Well, at least I am. This version of the dvd has no cussing. In a normal FOB show, Pete Wentz (bassist) would do all the talking. He did, but there's no cussing. It's cut off, the one thing I can complain about this dvd is that part, because it's on the live CD, just not on the dvd. Apart from that, this is the show where they got shot out of the floor like toast. Patrick didn't like it. This show was so good, though just wish they kept the cussing in the show rather than muting it. 

Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree

The second album by these pop-punk band from Chicago. I really like them, and got into them by a good friend. I really didn't like this album except for it's singles, but after hearing a few times, I've begun to really love it. My favorite part of Fall Out Boy is they never disappoint. Patrick Stump (singer) is really superb at what he can sing. Not in this album, though which is sad. You can feel that he's still holding back what his incredible voice can do. However, with that said, he still does sing good in this album. This album is growing on me, but this wasn't the first album I heard when I got into them.

U2 - Greatest Hits

The dvd part of the 1990-2000 videos. I love this because it has all of the videos from Achtung Baby to All That You Can't Leave Behind, along with some b-side videos, too which is so nice. One of the videos of Staring At The Sun is a video directed by Moreligh Steinberg (Edge's future wife at the time) and that version I like better actually. This does have extras, too. Such as the Trabant for ZooTV tour, and a special interview about Sarajevo.

What above is the cd version of the greatest hits (1990-2000). I like how they compiled these when Bono's voice wasn't feeling right. The cd version is a 2-disc with the singles on one, and the b-sides plus remixes on disc-2. My favorite version of Electrical Storm is on the second disc. The one thing I don't like about the cd version: there is no The Fly, but it's on the dvd. That's what I don't get, but that's okay. I can live with it.

The 18-single cd. I kind of don't understand the meaning of greatest hits for any band in that matter, but ok. This does have one new song called Window In The Sky which was recorded at Abbey Roads studio in London, also a song they collaborated with Green Day called The Saints Are Coming. That is also recorded at Abbey Roads studio. It says it in the booklet so I know. I like this minus there is no Gloria from October which is sad. Also no Unforgettable Fire, but on cd's you can't even put much on them.

The dvd portion of the cd above. This dvd has more videos, again minus the ones that I wanted to be on it: I Will Follow, Gloria, Unforgettable Fire, The Fly, and the list goes, but I can live with it. I like the One story which is an extra as well as other versions of their videos they made. There is a story of Vertigo on how they made that video, too. This dvd has the live video of The Saints Are Coming from the reopening of Superdome in NOLA. That was really nice that it got added into a video. All of these U2 posts I've done you can enjoy.
